On the web I see a few people offering to buy small web hosting business with a specific turnover. I am not sure why they want to do that. It would have been much easier to build a reputation of their own than a small, unknown business entity. Sometimes I even doubt that they have malicious intention with the user data they gain during such transactions. I will stay away from being a client of such an about to sell hosting company.
