No commercial links in documentation sites are allowed from now on. But no links from WordPress.org will be removed.
we came to conclusion that we won’t allow, at least in the beginning and for the time being, any commercial blogs. So before you start arguing that some popular plugin’s blogs have valuable information, let me stop you right there.
The documentation team does not wish to make itself looks like taking sides and do not want to spend their time on weighing those links which would rather go to contributing to the documentation process.
