Windows 7 design

I was a lot impressed when I first saw the transparency in Windows 7. Fought a lot to get it to work on my machine.

But that was the beginning of a design scheme. Now Microsoft has brought back the same design idea in a new manner. I admit, Fluent design is way lot improved than what we have seen in Windows 7. But that is just grown-up tools at work.

Will you add this design scheme in your work ? Either on a website or a e-format graphics ?

See through will come back. I am sure. This time, in a more polished manner. Last day I tried see through + red. You can call that red glass. Remember the old day buttons ? How glassy they looked. There was even a software which allowed you to create buttons for the web. I loved blue and green with glossy effect. That is why I used Photoshop for the first time.

You mean those glossy buttons ? Loved them. Imagine the " Start Discussion " button moves to something like this 🤣

That's the transparency core which first appeared in vista, but was (surprise, surprise) broken - like everything else in vista

Never tried Vista. I think I have not used it at all. Then came Windows 8 and 8.1. The flat design grabbed some attention, but I didn't want it. Windows 7 and Aero was too good to leave.

admin no, I didn't. I had a new pc with it installed when it arrived. It was immediately replaced with Linux.

It was always competent - it just lacked a usable GUI for some time which is the real reason as to why there are so many command line junkies

Linux was not much a thing if you are not a computer guy. That was the unsung slogan where I live. I had access to computer for years before I tried Linux. No one bothered to add Linux into the machine. Maybe they were afraid to do so.
