BuddyPress 6.0 is now available with a functional REST API. It will add Members and Groups blocks to your WordPress editor.

Have you used it before ? I thought it is more like Facebook. Not sure how secure it is.
Abhi It's exactly like Facebook. Used it before in all of it's iterations. In fact, the only thing that makes it worthwhile to use is Youzer (WordPress plugin, which is brilliant).

I wouldn't fancy starting one. Good for an intranet for companies who want to engage their employees. Or a locally hosted instance for residence associations.

I'd never bother with a pointless exercise like that. Imagine how many people's lives would change for the better if they didn't have to post literally everything they do on a daily basis 🙂
