Do you think that people access websites more through mobile than desktop ? We have a responsive theme and all those adjustments to be ready for mobile users. But I don't think that people would be more on a mobile browser.
If it is an app, that is a different question. It can be easy when people get those notifications just like in the browser.
Abhi But I don't think that people would be more on a mobile browser.
You might want to re-think that 🙂
Evidence shows that over 80% of internet browsing is via mobile devices...
I only use a handful of websites using my mobile browser. But when it comes to PC, I would not able to count the no. of site I have bookmarked. With PC, there is a better chance that someone will type your URL.
But when it comes to search results, people will simply try them on their smart phone most of the time.
admin I only use a handful of websites using my mobile browser.
That is true in my case well. So in case of repeating visitors, there is a good chance that the use of PC is helpful.
That might be true. But how many websites do you visit on your mobile browser ? Just a fact check.
Abhi I use my mobile phone a lot, so pretty much all of the ones I use regularly.
Mine, not more than 5.
My mobile access usage is less when compared with PC. Mobile access gives the feel that site is restricted little in terms of usage. PC gives you the complete feel.
Jason PC gives you the complete feel.
That is very very true.
I like the mobile view as well. But the desktop version is often so vibrant. Also, there is an issue of having " thick fingers ".
I am lucky enough to have a good enough slot not moving much every month. This gives me the luxury of using my laptop than phone. Even when I go for a trip, I keep my laptop with me. So, I would like to use the laptop than a mobile device like smartphone to handle my web browsing.
Browsing website with smartphone is good to check what is the latest, but replying or making threads with thick fingers is a pain.
Jason not if you use Gboard or Swype. Instead of typing, you simply drag your finger along the keyboard to type. I use it all the time.
I find that too difficult for me. With my 4.7 inch phone and big hands i am not able to use it smoothly.
