After a lot of trial and error, finally came as close as I can to matte finish texture. I am adding it with opacity so that when using the next time, it will be as fresh as the first time
All you have to do is use GIMP and play with noise filter. Takes some time before you can end up with one that satisfy your needs.
Not seeing anything, right ? It is there, when you use a coloured background.
It is hard to manage with a small sized pattern. So I made a Full HD and 960p versions. First one is normal matte finish and second one is a finer matte variant
// Fine matte//
\ Fluent matte//
Both of them works on coloured background, not white as the grains are white. Download or copy image location to use them.
Tried them, looks good. 👍️
A little tip for those who want to use it. If it is too coarse for you, scale the pattern to smaller percentage. Then it gets finer.
Never try to scale up. It will only ruin it.
That is right. Smaller, the finer. I had to make it bigger elements. Something like a window or a web page.
