I see a lot of shades of purple being used in design elements. Are you a fan of it ? It is mostly is brush strokes and gradients I see this trend. I don't it to be honest. They look good with some shades of blue and yellow.
I like some of them, especially in textures. Wallpapers look good too.
But purple is something you won't splash everywhere. Use is wisely and you have a very good UX. 🙂
Tech blog, The Verge has purple all over it. It is not so comfortable though. It is a lighter shade of purple which I am not a fan of. But it is at a point where we say " it's ok ".
I am planning to customise my desktop theme into Purple. Planning on the right shade of it.
