Have you ever worked to be on DuckDuckGo results ? Did your website show up for a relevant search ?
Nope, Google is the search engine i worry about. Duckduckgo i use only in few occasions.
But don't you think it is getting popular. I see a lot of reference about it among Linux users. Even Windows and Mac users choose to use it.
Abhi I see a lot of reference about it among Linux users.
Yes, that's because its probably one of the few remaining search engines that still respects true privacy.
Last few weeks i have started using the search engine not for seo but for work and I started to like it but Google is the king so sticking with Google. DuckDuckGo respects privacy which i like. Let me give it one more week and see how it goes
I tried it a few times. Maybe because I am used to Google, I found lesser details in search results when compared to Google. Like, all those listings on the right hand side and so on.
Do you think we should use it more ?
I like to use Google because they indeed give tailored results. But we need to move on and try other search engines too. Just for fun if not for other reasons. 🙂

Valid point 😎️
I was very tempted to use Bing all the time. Then dropped the idea. I trust Google better than MS.
Abhi I was very tempted to use Bing all the time.
I have tried that too. But Google results are very tempting. I might do some 1 month with DuckDuckGo and see what happens. You need to use a service long enough to judge it.

True. Being the privacy advocate I am, I've been using DuckDuckGo as my default search engine for 2 months, and I have to say.....
I absolutely HATE it. The results aren't friendly, it's non-intuitive, and above all, clunky. As much as I don't agree with or like Google's policies, they are the world leaders in search engine searches for a reason.
How about me trying only DuckDuckGo for a week from now. Let us see how it goes.

No one can be more honest 🤣
Bing mimics Google in many ways in search results. But that is exchange one black hole for another.
