How extensively do you use moderation tools on your forum ? Which one is your favourite ?
I love purge spammer tool in MyBB. One-click fix for the bot mess. Flarum has a similar option. No need to spend hours cleaning the spam posts and topics.

Discourse has community moderation option. Members can down vote and take a post or topic off from public view. Depends on how many no. of votes are polled.

But in some cases, community moderation is a good thing. You just don't have to over do it.
Make sure that there are regular moderators for intervention if something goes wrong.
