Google images to show licensing details

We have a habit of using anything that Google Image throws at. Can't blame the users, they see no details about the terms of use. But every digital content has a license associated with it and Google will now start displaying it to you which image search

To tell Google which images are licensable, add metadata to each licensable image on your site. If you have the same image on multiple pages, add metadata for each image on each page that it appears.

A long sought request from many webmasters. Google is already linking to the web page. Now we can tag license too.

And this is exactly where it all falls down. People think the internet is a hunting ground where they can take whatever they want without ever having to pay for it or even give credit to someone else where its due.

Is it going to affect the end users badly or not ? I think this is certainly good for admins who invest in image as content.

I am ok when they do for wallpaper. But people use it for commercial projects as well.
