Is there a thing called Mac server ? Does anyone even consider using a Mac as a server ?
I have heard some people use Mac as server hardware. But it must be very rare, I don't know anybody in person who uses it.
Someone told me " Why would anyone do that ? "
To be honest, I think that person is right. Why bother when we have Linux and Windows servers with a lot of evolved ecosystem, free online support platforms, guides and tutorials and so on.
Abhi Using a MAC as a server is almost like using Linux Server with a DE. The MAC is based on OpenBSD (with a lot of proprietary kernels and builds from Apple).

Abhi I din't say it wasn't recommended - just unusual, and not an industry standard.
Considering the money in it, why Apple has no interest in this area ? Quite surprising.
